The conference had been arranged under the motto “The Ubiquitous Web”, thus examining and discussing the prevalence of web resp. internet into peoples lives. Parallel with the tutorials a Ubiquitous Web Day had been posted, featuring discussions and presentations on ubiquitous web technology, from hardware through mobile to virtual worlds such as Second Life. The Ubiquitous Web day was chaired by Dave Raggett, a member of the W3Cs Ubiquitous Web team. Keynote talks were delivered by Adam Greenfield, Gavin Starks, Jack Schulze and Matt Webb.
