What is OpenID?

The Expectnation event system allows users to create accounts and log in using an OpenID. This means you don't have to remember another set of username/password combinations, you can just use one you've already got.

Where can I get an OpenID?

There are two main ways to get an OpenID:

  1. You may already have an account at a service which provides OpenIDs. Check against this list.
  2. Sign up for an account with an OpenID provider.

I've already registered. Can I switch to OpenID?

Yes, you can add an OpenID to your Expectnation-based account. Do this by visiting the Password section of Your account and entering an OpenID URL.

Your previous email address/password combination will still continue to work as well.
