Imity is a live experiment piggybacking mobile identity and a social web on the ubiquitous world of bluetooth cell phones.
Ubiquitous objects in Imity are not-quite-spime: We have a high resolution time history of our objects but make do without geolocated objects.
In this presentation I will discuss the platform, the limitations and possibilities of it and some of the experiences from our user community during the early life of our system.
Our mobile client is open source. If time permits I’ll try to give a little insight in hacking the client.
Software developer based in Copenhagen. Cofounded Imity in 2006, developing mobile identity and social networking using bluetooth, cellphones and the web.
